THE PROCESS...We adapt as the market dictates our approach

Typically we begin about 6am unless PM trading has displayed  consistent trading success.  We have 2 accounts. Our main trading account is with TD Ameritrade's 'Thinkorswim' program. It is comprised of every thing a trader could want in a  professional program; scans, charts, analysis, etc. Our 2nd account is with Webull giving us a full 4am-8pm trading window. Coffee is making and computers and screens are warming up.

We begin with starting multiple scans searching for $5 and down stocks with early vol and price movement. Next the news feed is set in action capturing any emerging news release on stocks in our price range. Alarms are set to inform us of each news story as it is reported. The scans and news sources are the foundation for the days trading selection.

As the scans reveal vol/price movers and the news sheds light on possibilities, we spend time on each stock analyzing the totality of it's history and current actions.  If a stock is in a 'run' mode we may enter it at this point.

The crucial time period between 8-9:30 is substantial. Whether a stock is going to take off, continue or back track often happens during this time. Also, important news appears for many stocks at this point. Usually by now we have a feel for the over-all market; indexes, sectors and sentiment.   

Sometimes we will buy a mover before market open. Often we wait till after open to make a choice to purchase after initial drop takes place and the stock turns back up. It is all about timing and getting in at the correct point of a stocks movement. We notify when we buy and when we sell, then it is up to each trader to make their own trading decision.

More often than not, we have reached an acceptable HOD by 11am and our money is made. Sometimes a stock appears to have greater potential and we watch it into the afternoon or PH session before closing out....just depends on each stocks action and trader sentiment.

Around 4:30 pm most days our scan settings are changed, news source is on watch and we begin the process all over again. Many times we are able to grab an AH's mover and swing it till next trading session for a move up, or news/PR is released on a stock which results in a nice AH run. The possibilities are up to the market and we are ready and waiting to take advantage of every chance it affords us.
